Sunday 23rd Dec
Another Great Race! Stallion and Speey teamed up this time, leavin the Cpt to race with race organizer Scooby. The Cpt and Scooby started in second place with Paul and Jonathon Clarke in 3rd. Stallion and Speedy further back in 7th. The Cpt and Paul.C battled hard with the "marshal" team for the lead until the Cpt was forced off at the chicane and the engine cut-out, and in doing so fell behind Stallion who had settled in and got into 6th, a lap down, before handing over to Speedy 30mins into the race with the Cpt handing oer to Scooby 15mins later. Speedy had an hour to make as much progress as possible. Soon Speedy was battling with Scooby for 3rd place and eventualy winning the place and continuing his charge.
By the end of the race Speedy was in 3rd with Scooby in 4th. The Marshal team won with the Kavanagh duo in 2nd.

Sunday 23rd Dec.
Ice, Wet, Cold - usual PFI. No Qualifying lap for the Cpt, Stuck on the Grass at the chicane for Speedychick and a DNF for Speedy. Not the best of outings for the team it has to be said. 13th 14th and last in qualifying didnt spell a good start to the day and overal poor race finishes didnt help.

Sunday 16th December
1.5 Hour Team Endurance
Almost Perfect was what turned out to be Team Slick Egos night. A great win for Speedy and the Cpt but disaster for Yellow Peril's and Stallion's kart. Team 9 cosisted of Speedy and the Cpt, Team 5 was Yellow Peril and Stallion with Speedy and Stallion starting the race. Soon after the green flag Speedy had caught and passed Stallion and was in the lead pulling away as Stallion battled to stay ahead of, the Red Baron which is Paul Clarke. Although after Paul had passed Stallion, he took a while to catch Speedy. When he did Speedy made a slight mistake and Paul was through. But that wasnt it. Speedy dug his claws into Paul and never let him go, staying within lunging distance and ocasionally trying for a pass. But a crash in the tunnel caused Speedy to get stopped by marshals as Paul went through. Speedy was Pissed. After handing over to the Cpt, the gap increased but not by a lot and when Paul handed over to Jonathan, the Cpt caught and passed for the lead soon after. The rest of the race Pat and the Cpt spent fighting each other with some comedy moments and won the race ahead of Paul. Stallion handed over to Yellow Peril 20mins into the race but retired soon after when the kart decided to die.

Friday 14th Dec
2 x Iron Man 30's
Race 1: Quali resulted in the Cpt 1st and Speedy 2nd. From the green flag it was a great race! There was some exchanging for the lead until around lap 10 when Speedy was put into the wall at turn 6 by a back marker, allowing the Cpt to take the lead. A lead from which he would keep until the end despite Speedy coming back at him 3 times, but because of traffic the race was over. Cpt won by 6 seconds with Speedy getting the Fastest Lap.

Race 2: Speedy opted to miss most of qualifying to set up the camera for his helmet but got in 2 laps on a new kart resulting in 4th with the Cpt in 1st. 2 Laps into green flag racing Speedy was up to 2nd and pushing the Cpt for the lead. This time there was no traffic that could get in the way for either Speedy or the Cpt. All the way through the race they traded palces but at the end Speedy crossed the line with fastest lap and 2 seconds ahead of the Cpt.

Speedy and The Cpt were greeted by a very wet circuit on arrival to PFI, which is now the norm for this time of year, for what turned out to be a very good day of racing. The Cpt went out first in qulaifying to get in some quick laps and got as high as 2nd before handing over to speedy who got pole for all of 3 laps before being beaten by 0.040sec.
Cpt started and was in a 3-way dog-fight for the lead till coming in to hand over to Speedy who went out and managed to close up to the " Snails ". As they pitted so did Speedy for a run-around and chased them out of the pit lane and kept a 3-5 sec gap till coming back in to hand over to The Cpt. Both The Cpt and Speedy struggled in their second stints to keep up with the 2 other teams with a couple of spins for The Cpt and a spinning back-marker making Speedy go grass-tracking. At the end of the race Slick Ego's finnished about a minute behind the other 2 teams in 3rd. But a posotive was that experience in the wet seems to be getting better.

09/12/2007 1.5 Hour Team Enduro
Fresh from a good finnish at PFI, the duo of The Cpt and Speedy took on Stallion paired with "Big" Mike and the Yellow Peril on his own along with a host of regular ppik goers. Starting 9th, The Cpt once again started first for what would turn out to be a incident filled race. After 25 mins the Cpt was up to second, right behind the Yellow Peril In first. Then all hell broke loose and a fight insued, but not in karts. Nearly everyone in attendance got involved and the race was stopped.
After a stern bollocking racing resumed and 5 mins after the restart The Cpt took the lead from the Yellow Peril. 10mins later it was time to hand over to the eager Speedy who went out and passed everything and everyone who he came across. The gap to the Yellow Peril was getting smaller and smaller but Speedy ran out of time and passed the chequered flag 13.109 adrift of the Yellow Peril but got the fastest ime of the night of 41.646.
